PREPARATION OF TECHNICAL COLLEGE STUDENTS FOR PUBLIC PERFORMANCE
Annotation
The article deals with some methodical questions of preparing students of a technical college for public speech. The author mentions the reasons of weak training results (graduates’ competences) claimed in the basic educational programs for engineering specialities. The results of testing students of engineering faculties in terms of the use of prosodic and extra-linguistic means of speech expressiveness are presented. The author describes conditions that foster skills of possessing prosodic and extra-linguistic means of expressiveness.Key words
