FORMATION OF MEDIA-EDUCATIONAL COMPETENCE OF PEDAGOGICAL HIGHER SCHOOL STUDENTS (EXAMPLIFIED BY THE DISCIPLINE “FOREIGN LANGUAGE”)

Annotation

The problem of developing media-educational competence is one of topical issues of the era of developing information technologies. In this connection media- educational competence should become an integral part of professional competence of a modern teacher. The article examines the given question and offers some prac­tical ways to solution the problem of developing media-educational competence of students of pedagogical higher school (basing on the discipline “Foreign language”). The presented model of media-educational competence development can be involved in educational process at a wide interdisciplinary level.
