ACTIVITY-BASED APPROACH TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF FOREIGN LANGUAGE UNIVERSITY STUDENTS’ HUMANITARIAN CULTURE
Annotation
The article presents the basic principles of the activity-based approach to the development of university students’ humanitarian culture in the process of learning foreign languages. The analysis results helped reveal organizational requirements to the process of university students’ humanitarian culture development. From the point of view of the activity-based approach, the development of the university students’ humanitarian culture in the process of learning foreign languages is considered to be an integrated phenomenon comprising goals, motives, actions, operations, result, and realized through the students’ involvement into active, reflexive and cognitive activities aimed at the language and culture acquisition.Key words
