THEORETICAL APPROACHES TO THE PROBLEM OF INTEGRATION OF PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED CHILDREN INTO SOCIAL LIFE
Annotation
Organization of constant cultural dialogue and development of creative abilities is one of the preferable directions of socio-cultural integration and rehabilitation of disabled children. In quickly changing conditions segregation of the disabled leads to their loss of orientation in reality and difficulties in segmental contacts with people around them. It should be admitted that the full integration of the disabled into usual socio-cultural life is hardly possible. There are no medical, technical or sociocultural means able to compensate for such serious defects as auditory impairment, visual impairment, mental retardation and problems of musculoskeletal system, so that they remained unnoticed in usual life. For this reason the specific character of social interaction of the disabled is unlikely to change, but the task of all the participants of socio-cultural interaction is to minimize these peculiarities.Key words
socio-cultural integration of the disabled, rehabilitation, development of real opportunities, ensuring civil rights.
