Annotation
The article deals with a model of qualitative improvement of the educational process at all its stages, which is explained by a different character of the modern school student body. Modern schoolchildren are characterized by lower education prestige, lower level of communicative culture and interest to books and the process of knowledge acquisition. Reading is considered to be a means determining human life in various spheres and enabling us to realize our cultural potential and acquire methods of information encoding and decoding. In this context the most important problems are those of revealing reading deficiencies typical of junior schoolchildren as well as the problem of their correction technology taking into account schoolchildren’s personal peculiarities and merits.Key words
