STATE OF ORTHOGRAPHY AND SPEECH TRAINING OF 8-9 GRADES STUDENTS
Annotation
The article is devoted to the problem of the actual level of orthographic and speech training of 8–9 grade students. On the basis of questionnaire poll of the students the author focused on three aspects: the students’ understanding of the meaning and essence of orthographic rules, their ability to reproduce an orthographic rule by heart as a piece of scientific linguistic text and the level of the students’ knowledge allowing them to make the right choice while practising orthography. The given article reveals serious problems whose solution requires finding efficient approaches to the organization of the educating process on the basis of achievements of the modern education methodologyKey words
