Annotation

Nowadays the problem of improving the quality of education at PE faculties in pedagogical high schools proves to be very topical. The solution of the problem is impossible without clear understanding of a PE teacher (or a coach) core competences. The article looks into the key elements of the PE teacher personality model. The given model shows professional and personal qualities of a PE faculty graduate vital for their efficient professional activities. This model can also serve an indicator of young specialists’ further independent professional activities quality.
