TO THE ISSUE OF LECTURERS’ PROFESSIONAL LEVEL EVALUATION IN COMPETENCE APPROACH

Annotation
In higher education establishments lecturers’ professional level evaluation, used by various establishments and on various levels (higher educational establishments administration; undergraduates; lecturers-colleagues) several mutually complementary approaches are implemented: a formal standardized system; «Leader» evaluating system, able to assess s lecturer’s creativity and used by fellow teachers; various systems students’ evaluation of lecturers’ performance; competence approach. Lack of confidence in implementation of competence paradigm in higher education on the background of organizational, administrative and institutional reforms explains the necessity of raising the issue of the Russian university lecturers’ professional level evaluation.Key words
