EVOLVEMENT OF PEDAGOGICAL MONITORING OVER PROFESSIONAL WORK OF A TEACHER IN MILITARY HIGHER EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENT

Annotation
The authors consider the process of enriching the category “pedagogical monitoring of teacher’s professional work” in terms of historical-pedagogical analysis of becoming and development of military education. During the historical period under study (XVIII-XX centuries), basic orientation of pedagogical monitoring was studying productive achievements of professional work of military higher school teachers by means of such methods as: supervision, diagnostics, and control. The article also covers inconsistent influence of one-man management principle, idea of identifying military-professional qualities of a teacher and military-pedagogical qualities of an officer, and some others on the development of researchers’ interest to the procedural part of pedagogical monitoring.Key words
