Annotation
The article deals with various types of motives for professional skills improvement of modern teachers and data of their reflective analysis. The authors dwell on motivational resources for professional development of teachers, types of attitudes to innovations and directions of professional development. Various points of view on the problem of motivation for professional self-improvement are revealed and analyzed. The analysis of the basic motivational promptings of professional development is given. The authors provide empirical data concerning motives of professional skills improvement of teachers.Key words
