USING ROLE PLAYS WHILE TEACHING FOREIGN LANGUAGES IN HIGHER SCHOOL
Annotation
The article is devoted to the use of game technologies while teaching foreign languages in higher school. The author emphasizes the fact that use of role plays in foreign languages teaching brings novelty into traditional lesson routine, raises interest and helps to improve language competences of students. Role plays contribute to development of professionally focused speaking skills during game activities; help to arrange class work in a new and exciting way taking into account age and professional features of students. According to the author, active implementation of role plays into teaching foreign languages allows to enhance major components of communicative competence.Key words
