Annotation
Preschool education is defined by the authors as one of the first steps in education that creates necessary conditions for teaching and learning, education and self-education, development and self-development of cognitive and personal competences of children aged 6–7. Proceeding from the given understanding, the authors suggest the following conceptual provisions of successive preschool and primary education: 1) continuity of training and education of children at different periods of childhood as based on the account of such significant parameter as evolution of the world image in consciousness of a child; 2) cognitive competences – set of variousKey words
