THE PRINCIPLE OF VALUE REFLECTION AS THE FACTOR OF SOCIO-CULTURAL DEVELOPMENT OF UNIVERSITY STUDENTS LEARNING A FOREIGN LANGUAGE
Annotation
The purpose of the article is to consider the principle of value reflection as the factor of socio-cultural development of university students who learn a foreign language. The principle of value reflection means comparative, value-focused study of the systems of values of foreign and native cultures, evolving skills of critical judgment of values belonging to various linguistic societies as well as uniting universal values. Realization of the principle developed by the author provides value-conscious development of students while realizing their cultural identity, seeing cultures as equal in rights due to universal values that unite them.Key words
