PSYCHOLOGICAL AND PEDAGOGICAL SUPPORT OF DEVELOPING TOLERANCE AT TEENAGE PERIOD

Annotation

The article presents the review of regulatory documents of the United Nations, UNESCO, UNICEF and the way they treat the category “tolerance”. The author analyses the category “tolerance” in terms of anthropology, ethnography, psychology of personality, social psychology, ethno-psychology, and psychology of development. The article offers the results of empirical research of the level of tolerance in teenagers and its substantial characteristics: ethnic tolerance, social tolerance, tolerance as a personal feature. The author of the article also provides theoretical grounds for designing the program of psychological and pedagogical support of development of tolerance at teenage period and shares experience of realization of the given program.
