Annotation

The article gives an outline to the key directions in transformation of Russian pedagogical education which takes place rather hastily and leads to negative results. The new paradigm of pedagogical education is innovative-creative. It makes possible to create a teacher of a new type who possesses pedagogical creativity, is capable to solve new problems that education offers. The author proves that modern higher school needs teachers-researchers who is continuously engaged in research activity and engages students into it, who can project new subject content of qualitative preparation of future experts.
