Annotation

P.F. Kapterev’s systematization of scientific pedagogy principles had great influence on development of national pedagogy during all XX century; it affected development of psychological-pedagogical theories by L.S. Vygotskiy, A.N. Leontev, theoretical substantiation of developing pedagogy as well as on creating uniform methodical basics of the Soviet pedagogical system. Analytical representation of scientific and pedagogical heritage and basic postulates of democratic pedagogy by P.F. Kapterev enables modern scientists, teachers and administrative staff working in the field of education management sphere, to develop new concepts of education, to integrate them into the theory of pedagogical process and teaching practice aimed at formation and development of harmonious, socially focused person.
