PEDAGOGICAL MODEL OF DEVELOPING FOREIGN LANGUAGE COMPETENCE OF STUDENTS STUDYING FOREIGN LANGUAGES IN A TECHNICAL COLLEGE

Annotation

The pedagogical model of foreign language competence development of students of engineering department is developed in view of requirements to preparation of experts reflected in new State Educational Standards (standards of the third generation). The author gives detailed description to its theoretical basics, purpose and structural components. Content-target, operational-activity and productive es timating components reveal the basic properties of the model, its openness and universal character. The article also states successful conditions of model implementation in educational practice.
