POSSIBILITIES OF USING UNDERSTANDING OF THE ACTIVITY OBJECT TO FORECAST STUDENTS’ PROGRESS AT HIGH SCHOOL

Annotation

The article is devoted to the problem of professionalization monitoring at high school. According to the author the system of professional concepts organizing and channeling a person’s activities and ensuring a successful future performance is a key factor of professional development. The article focuses on the process of developing students’ understanding of their future activity object, highlights discrepancy between their ideas about their future work and the object they will have to deal with in the course of their work. The author also shows connections between students’ understanding of their activity object and indicators of their adaptability, motivation and career ambitions.
