SELF-EFFICIENCY AS THE FACTOR OF PROFESSIONALIZING OF STUDENTS OF A HUMANITIES BENT

Annotation

The given research is devoted to analysis of the role of self-efficiency in higher school studies. The paper proves that self-efficiency is the phenomenon which is not connected with ideas of future specialists concerning their future profession. The author claims that during studies in higher educational institutions the majority of professional implications of students is corrected and becomes more adequate, starting to reflect the reality. The article proves that ideas about their future profession of junior students mostly match, regardless of their level of self-efficiency. Statistic data prove that senior students who have different levels of self-efficiency reveal significant differences in assessment of their professional activities. According to the author, this fact confirms divergence in their professional development. The carried-out correlation analysis has not revealed interrelation between indicators of self-efficiency and estimates of students of different academic year
