DEVELOPMENT OF MENTALLY CHALLENGED JUNIOR SCHOOL-CHILDREN’S HIGHER MENTAL FUNCTIONS BY ART-THERAPY METHODS
Annotation
The article presents comparative analysis of the results of the experimental correction work with primary school group by art-therapy methods at the lessons of fine arts in the special correction boarding school of the VIIIth type. The author explains certain peculiarities of developing strategies of the practical fine arts training for mentally challenged children. The author suggests step-by-step correction of higher mental function development with the help of special art-therapy methods by correction education teachers in specialized boarding schools.Key words
