METHODOLOGY OF COMPARATIVE RESEARCH OF MULTICULTURAL EDUCATION IN RUSSIA AND THE USA

Annotation

Multicultural education is a burning problem for Russian scholars and teachers. Russia and the USA have accumulated profound experience in multicultural education. We consider it vital to represent the methodology of comparative research of multicultural education of both countries. In the article the comparative research methodology is revealed on philosophical, general scientific, pedagogical-theoretic and technological levels. In terms of the theoretical analysis of pedagogic methodologists’ and comparativists’ concepts it was proved that competent combination of the above mentioned approaches guarantees objectivity of the analysis of multicultural education, enables to realize multidimensionality and ambiguousness of pedagogical reality in the variety of sociocultural conditions
