ATTITUDE TO AN EXPECTED CHILD AT THE STAGE OF MATERNITY PLANNING
Annotation
The article is aimed at studying the attitude to an expected child at the stage of maternity planning. The author sets the following goals: to carry out theoretical analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature devoted to this problem; to study the results of empiric research. The author comes to the conclusion that the attitude to an expected child at the stage of maternity planning is the system consisting of interconnected and interrelated elements, i.e., motivational, cognitive, behavioral and emotional components. The motivational component is connected with the motive of giving birth to a child, the cognitive component reflects the image of a child, behavioural component is related to a set of behavioural characteristics of a child, whereas the emotional component shows the degree of acceptance and satisfaction.Key words
