Annotation
The purpose of the research is to study the particularities and structures of hearing-impaired teenagers’ psychological protection mechanisms in connection with their psychological and pedagogical adaptation to education in initial vocational training institutions. The results of the research are indicative of possibility of using questionnaires in examination of hearing impaired teenagers in presence of an experienced psychologist and deaf-and-dumb teacher. It is proved that the system of psychological protection of a hearing-impaired teenager has certain particularities developed under the conditions of hearing depravation, which is indicative of the necessity of activities aimed at relieving the intensity of psychological protection.Key words
