TEACHING MATHEMATICS TO STUDENTS OF CHEMICAL-TECHNOLOGICAL SPECIALITY
Annotation
The article is devoted to methods of teaching mathematics at chemical-technological faculty in a technical university. On the basis of general technical and specific disciplines analysis, expediency of teaching students to solve differential equations of certain types is proved, criteria for selection of contents and structure of lecture course called “Differential equations” taking in consideration professional orientation is presented. The method of solving professional-applied tasks during lectures by method of mathematical modeling is described. The method presented in the article enables to increase quality of teaching, to develop students’ ability to apply mathematical knowledge.Key words
