Annotation

This article offers the analysis of educational curriculum and discipline programs of a technical higher educational establishment in order to explain how the content of the subjects with federal and regional components promote the formation of a competitive specialist. The author also offers the model and logical outline of the development of competitive personal characteristics, analyses the objects, content, methods, means and forms of each stage of the model.
