INTEGRATION OF THE CONTENT AS METHODICAL FACTOR OF SENSE-MAKING IN TEACHING THE LANGUAGE OF SCIENCE TO FOREIGN STUDENTS

Annotation
The article deals with the problems of teaching the language of science (scientific style) to foreign pupils at pre-university level of education. In particular, new pedagogical conditions of teaching pupils-foreign citizens of preparatory faculties have caused necessity of transition to learner-centered approaches that activate sense-making activity of trainees. Integration of the content of teaching materials can be seen as the necessary condition for sense-making activity. The authors consider different kinds of integration depending on the stage of communicative skills development and prove it necessary to integrate natural sciences and humanitarian disciplines. The article states the interrelation between various kinds of integration and development of semantic sphere of trainees while using modular organization of teaching material in integrative, professionally focused complex.Key words
