PSYCHOLOGICAL COMPETENCE DEVELOPMENT IN THE SYSTEM OF PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION OF TEACHERS IN RUSSIA AT THE END OF XIX – BEGINNING OF XX CENTURY
Annotation
The article is devoted to description of socio-cultural preconditions and main directions of psychological preparation of teachers in Russia at the end of XIX -beginning of XX centuries. The author does a review of literary, archival sources and press materials in psychological and pedagogical domains. The carried out analyses enables to reveal the content, conditions, forms and methods of formation of psychological knowledge and skills of teachers during the period under study. As a result of the carried out retrospective analysis, the author states scientific and practical value of the investigated experience for development of psychological competence of future teachers in modern tertiary institutions.Key words
