COGNITIVE SCHEMES AS ORIENTATION BASIS OF SPEECH BEHAVIOR AND COGNITIVE ACTIVITY OF STUDENTS
Annotation
Cognitive and social processes in education are closely connected. Training, as a rule, is based on background knowledge of trainees and becomes basis for their cognitive schemes and structures. Cultural background knowledge passes from father to son and influences individual intelligence, cognitive activity and language behavior. The article dwells on how cultural background knowledge, received by the person during social interaction with other people, becomes orientation basis of his or her further cognitive activity and speech behavior. Background knowledge is structured into cognitive models referred to as schemes which differ as follows: universal, individual and cultural.Key words
