Annotation
According to the author, burnout syndrome is a body reaction that occurs as a result of continuous exposure to professional stress. This is a personally developed mechanism of psychological defense in the form of full or partial lack of emotions in response to the traumatic impact of stress. The author stresses that among the occupations in which emotional burnout syndrome occurs most often are physicians, psychologists, social workers, rescuers, law enforcement officials, teachers and coaches.Key words
