INFLUENCE OF PUBLIC NEEDS ON BECOMING AND DEVELOPMENT OF VOCATIONAL TRAINING OF SOCIAL TEACHERS IN BELARUS

Annotation

The article deals with the history of development of preparation and retraining in the scope of specialty “Social Pedagogy” in Belarus. The author analyzes change in approaches to training experts-social teachers after the shift in public needs. Tendencies in preparation of social teachers are defined. The factors influencing dynamics of public need for the preparation are revealed. The article also touches upon the role of a social teacher in the system of additional education, introduction of family forms of lives for children-orphans and children deprived of parent care. As for specialty “Social Pedagogy”, the author proves the urgent need for retraining. Participation of listeners in international conferences and projects is of special importance, according to the author.
