EVOLVEMENT OF SOCIAL PEDAGOGY SCHOOL OF THOUGHT IN UKRAINE. THEORY AND PRACTICE

Annotation

The article describes separate stages of becoming and development of social pedagogy as a science and practice in Ukraine. The paper gives outline to theoretical researches in the sphere of socially-pedagogical activity. The author states creation of socially-pedagogical school in Ukraine at Social Pedagogy Faculty of National Pedagogical University named after M.P. Dragomanov. The author emphasizes the big role of scientists of the Faculty in development of the state educational standard of the specialty “Social pedagogy”, of curricula in accord with European requirements, methodological and scientific background of preparation of social teachers in higher educational institutions of Ukraine. The importance of Social Pedagogy Faculty in creation of regulatory grounds of socially-pedagogical activity and development of socially-pedagogical infrastructure (such as social services, rehabilitation centers and other special social establishments as well as the system of professional skills
