AGGRESSION THEORIES IN PSYCHOLOGY

Annotation

According to the article, phenomenon of aggression is complicated enough, its scientific treatment being ambiguous. It is necessary to differentiate between the concepts “aggression” and “aggressiveness”. In modern psychology, scientists distinguish between aggressive actions, aggressive behavior and personal aggression. The article dwells on aggression models based on biological, social or psychological parameters. Scientific-theoretical analysis of the research papers on aggression phenomenon in foreign and national literature enables to conclude that aggression is a more complex phenomenon influenced by a complete set of factors.
