Annotation

The article covers existing approaches to the development of the concepts objects and subjects in pedagogy and psychology. The core of educational process in its most deep understanding, according to the author, is that it creates space for subject actualization. The subject is not considered as a mere executor and the author of an activity. The author draws the conclusion that the main feature of education lies in the fact that it provides a person with an opportunity to take up subject position in the educational process.
