FACTORS DETERMINING PSYCHOLOGICAL READINESS FOR MARRIAGE

Annotation

The article analyses psychological readiness for marriage as a personal development process consisting of interconnected components: matrimonial values, marriage motivation, and ideas of matrimonial hierarchy, matrimonial expectations, and the concept of matrimonial relations. Psychological readiness for marriage can be generated at different levels. Age, sex, a permanent partner and experience of living together are considered as factors influencing the structural organization of components of psychological readiness for marriage and their maintenance.
