Annotation

The article looks into patriotic education of schoolchildren in tourist and country study activities. It is proved that patriotic education in the process of schoolchildren’s tourist and country study activity organization is characterized by the emphasis on conscious perception of historical knowledge of the best traditions of the people, their heroic fight for liberty, their deeds, national heroes and outstanding personalities, the meaning of the Russian state symbols, etc.
