Annotation

The development of professional qualities in the conditions of informatization is a key element for the training of highly qualified engineers. The goal of this research is the analysis of the influence of the information society on the necessity of the professional qualities development in the process of the foreign language study of the engineer to be. Penza State Technological Academy prepares highly qualified specialists who are capable to exchange scientific and technical information with foreign partners. The author of the article underlines that studying a foreign language makes a positive impact on engineering training and on the development of necessary professional qualities
