DEVELOPING INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCIES OF TEACHERS IN THE SYSTEM OF PROFESSIONAL TRAINING AS A NECESSARY CONDITION OF COPING WITH PEDAGOGIC DEFORMITIES

Annotation

The article is devoted to the process of IT teachers’ professional skills and competencies improvement in the course of their professional training with the use of the modular approach in this field. The author describes problems faced by the teachers who have worked at school for many years when they come to the institute. The institute in question uses modular IT courses, but there is still much to do in this field. They have carried out diagnostics of teachers for three years. About half of respondents have problems with IT technologies. A lot of effort has been put into creating and improving the teachers’ professional competence in class. This work helps to improve IT teachers’ professional skills and competences and overcome all their problems within 36-module courses with the use of IT technologies.
