The article is devoted to certain theoretical approaches to the understanding of the teacher’s creative potential. On the basis of theoretical and experimental studies the author substantiates the hypothesis of the development and psychological mechanism of the teacher’s creative personality and describes the complex of psychological conditions creating optimum possibilities of the teacher’s creative potential development
