NATIONAL QUALIFICATION FRAMEWORK AS A TRAJECTORY OF A PERSON’S PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT IN THE SYSTEM OF CONTINOUS EDUCATION

Annotation

From pedagogical positions the article analyses the phenomenon of the national framework of qualifications. The authors carry out the comparative analysis of authentic materials on three best known national frameworks of qualifications: Australia; England, the Wales and Northern Ireland; and also the European Union. The analysis of qualifying frameworks is carried out by the following criteria: quantity of levels in a framework, qualification of level and the document certifying it, content of descriptors, prospective knowledge and skills. The article presents the author’s point of view on the framework of qualifications as a trajectory of professional development of a person in the context of life-long education through stage-by-stage achievement of the corresponding levels.
